Andrzej Wiśniowski, a founder and owner of the WIŚNIOWSKI brand, was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2013. The overall winner of the 11th Poland's National EY Entrepreneur of the Year also received the winner award in the Manufacturing category.
There were 11 finalists in this year's EY Entrepreneur of the Year program. During the gala awards ceremony, Andrzej Wiśniowski has took home two awards - Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 and a winner of Manufacturing category. “Products of WIŚNIOWSKI brand are designed to crown every investment. Today's award crowns my 25 years of work. Thank you very much. I wish all entrepreneurs to fulfil their objectives. I would also like to thank my family, our Clients and my employees”, said the author of brand's success.
The Jury awarded Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 for “more than 20 years of setting the trends on the international and domestic market of garage doors and fencing systems”. “This award does not only crown our 25 years of work, but also becomes (is?) a distinguishing certificate to my company. We will continue to invest and develop the company to meet our objectives”, said Andrzej Wiśniowski. WIŚNIOWSKI – a Polish company built up from the ground by Andrzej Wiśniowski – manufactures garage and industrial doors, fencing systems, and steel and aluminium joinery. In 2014 Andrzej Wiśniowski will go on to represent Poland at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year final in Monte Carlo, where he will compete with more than 50 national winners from across the globe.

Independent Judges of EY Entrepreneur of the Year Przedsiębiorca Roku headed by Jan Krzysztof Bielecki select the Entrepreneur of the Year based on the following criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, strategy, innovation and international activity. This year's Entrepreneur of the Year final and gala awards ceremony took place in Warsaw's Wola Center on 23 November 2013.
