Modern technologies contributing to the security of organizations, companies, public service companies, and individuals is the central theme of the SKYDD trade fair, the largest event of this type to take place in the Nordic countries. We took part in this year's edition, held from 23 to 25 October in Stockholm.
Safety and security form a part of our company's mission, so it is no surprise that we showed up at the largest trade fair in Northern Europe concerned with this issue. Due to the nature of the event, we decided to display our proven fence systems. Therefore, we simply had to present our super-fast and ultra-durable folding gates. They combine the advantages of a double-leaf gate and a barrier to enable permanent access control or traffic control. The solution is perfect for logistics centres, ports, airports, and other industrial areas.
The Scandinavian market shows increased interest in temporary fences. They are dedicated for construction sites and all kinds of areas under expansion. A temporary version of the V-King gate is the perfect choice. It is installed on a steel base enabling a folded gate to be transported from site to site, reinstalled, and reliably operated. We also showed our comprehensive solutions for fencing off industrial buildings, sites, warehouses, and car parks, namely the PI 200 and PI 95 sliding gates. The latter, just like the V-King, was displayed in a temporary version. Moreover, our visitors had the chance to see our AW 10.106 residential sliding gate and a broad range of mesh panels.
The trade fair hosted at Stockholmsmässan is becoming more and more popular each year. Over 250 exhibitors displaying security and rescue service solutions, plus seminars, lectures, and mutual exchange of experiences are just several building blocks of the Stockholm trade fair. The meeting of manufacturers from the security sector is an excellent opportunity to share the views about the direction the industry is taking, make new business contacts, and sell services and products. The previous SKYDD editions attracted not only thousands of visitors, but also hundreds of senior managers and security managers – and it was no different this year.
