The BAU trade fair in Munich is the world’s largest and most important event for the building sector. Each year, it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors who can admire the offering of key global manufacturers. This year’s edition was yet another attended by WIŚNIOWSKI. We displayed proven solutions for the sector, as well as brand new products, the launches of which will be significant events within the next 12 months.
Participation in the BAU trade fair is a good start of the year in which WIŚNIOWSKI will begin celebrating its 30th anniversary. This year’s BAU edition was special also for a different reason. The exhibition area was expanded to include two new buildings, which allowed the trade fair to beat last year’s records. BAU 2019 was attended by a quarter million guests from 150 countries, who visited the stands of almost 2,300 exhibitors.
This year will be an important period for WIŚNIOWSKI not only because of the jubilee. Within the next 12 months, new innovative products with the WIŚNIOWSKI logo will be brought to the market.
A new product in the brand’s window joinery range – the PVC window with an aluminium cover – was warmly received by our customers. WIŚNIOWSKI has been manufacturing windows for 27 years, but to date, we have been using much more demanding materials: aluminium and steel. Experience gained from the production of aluminium and steel windows allowed WIŚNIOWSKI to introduce a product meeting all the requirements of the modern building sector.
The aluminium cover makes it possible to design a matching set of garage doors, gates, windows, doors, and fences in the colours of the Home Inclusive collection. This time, the elegant lines of the new WIŚNIOWSKI PVC window were accentuated by the deep Modern Maroon colour, making up a harmonious set with the PRIME garage door, the CREO door, and the MODERN fence.
But the true highlight of the WIŚNIOWSKI stand was the MakroPro 2.0 industrial garage door in the ALU version. The increased interest it enjoyed among the BAU visitors was not unexpected, because the MakroPro 2.0 is the result of hard conceptual work of the best specialists who build the WIŚNIOWSKI brand on a daily basis and know what the demanding European and global markets need.
WIŚNIOWSKI is introducing a product that combines all the best solutions. From the very beginning, the project was intended to become a perfect solution. All the elements of the MakroPro 2.0 are equally important, so each of them was designed with utmost attention to detail, all the while bearing in mind that the ready product will have to face tough requirements. This did not escape the attention of the visitors, who watched the smooth operation of the MakroPro 2.0 with interest, admiring the perfect finish and impeccable style.
Against the background of the colourful expositions of the BAU trade fair, the WIŚNIOWSKI stand stood out thanks to its elegant white colour, which helped highlight our most important products in the Modern Maroon colour, which is available in the dedicated Home Inclusive 2.0 collection of 16 colours. The PRIME garage door, the PVC window with an aluminium cover plate, the lift and slide door, the CREO external door, and the MODERN fence with the Multi Box post attracted attention with their elegant simplicity and modern design.
Garage doors, gates, windows, doors, and fences with understated design remain the most important trend when fitting out the home and its surroundings. This guarantees that the installed products will be a joy to look at for decades. Aside from timeless design, WIŚNIOWSKI ensures high quality and reliability of its products – so they can remain beautiful and fault-free for many years to come.
WIŚNIOWSKI is not just about residential products. A section of our BAU 2019 stand was dedicated to visitors looking for professional solutions for business and industry. The central spot was given to the V-KING folding gate, which has been trusted by entrepreneurs from Western European countries ever since its launch. The display was complemented by the PI 200 and PI 130 industrial sliding gates, the GARDIA system, and the VEGA panel fences.
To appear at the Munich BAU trade fair is a dream for every manufacturer from the building sector. Despite over 200,000 square metres of exhibition area, not everyone is given the opportunity to show their offering to the demanding customers from all over the world.
“The BAU trade fair is not only a chance to expand the business network, learn about the latest innovations in the sector or share insights. We have a wonderful opportunity to showcase our products – usually only seen in pictures or on a screen – in real life. After all, there are features – and they are quite numerous – which can be appreciated only after physically experiencing the product,” says Zbigniew Matląg, WIŚNIOWSKI’s Sales Manager for Germany and Austria.
This year’s fair provided yet another opportunity for WIŚNIOWSKI to exhibit in Munich and prove that its leading position in the garage door, gate, window, door, and fence sector is not accidental. WIŚNIOWSKI’s representatives did not speak only for the company, though. Each year, more and more Polish manufacturers appear at the BAU trade fair, building not only their own image, but also Poland’s reputation abroad.
Year after year, WIŚNIOWSKI brings its best to the most important construction trade fairs in Europe. We have showcased our products at the NORDBYGG (Sweden), BUDMA (Poland), MadeExpo (Italy), SKYDD (Sweden), Zaunteam (Switzerland), Perimeter Protection (Germany), BOUWINNOVATIE (Belgium), and Batimat (France) trade fairs, to name a few.
All the exhibitions held in the world aim to display state-of-the-art technology and design achievements in the sector. They allow the participants to share experiences, build business relations, and search for prospective partnerships. They also provide the opportunity to meet customers face-to-face and understand their needs, which vary depending on the country and local conceptions.
