WIŚNIOWSKI has been betting on innovation for over 33 years! This time, experts of the Polish leader in the garage door, gate window, door, and fence market, have taken on the AWTech initiative. A subsidy from the EU budget will enable us to pay for work on a new, effective method of welding door opening frames.
“AWTech is a concept which will result in an automated, specialized, and more efficient process of producing door opening frames using galvanized sheet. It is an alternative that will make it possible to exclude the human factor from the areas of joining and processing galvanized elements, thereby eliminating emissions of harmful zinc vapours and dust. The new solution will enable us to considerably improve the safety of our workers,” says Tadeusz Wiśniowski, Vice-President at WISNIOWSKI.
The key aspect of the automatic welding line will consist in providing high quality welded joints that ensure very good aesthetics and precision of positioning, as well as the manufacturing tolerance of complete door opening frames, while at the same time providing an increase in production line efficiency by at least 50%.
The result of the AWTech project will be a fully-automated jig for welding door opening frames, ensuring:
In the age of Industry 4.0, investing in leading-edge technologies and process automation becomes a way of not only improving competitiveness, but also advancing work conditions and environmental protection. The AWTech project is a process innovation on a national, and even European scale.
