Another WIŚNIOWSKI showroom has just opened! This time, in a historic part of Knutsford, Cheshire county, just to the south-west of Manchester. And it wasn’t just a single door that opened up for you at the Aperture Doors showroom at 115 King St. on 31 March.
The owners of Aperture Doors went for luxury with a minimalist approach. What stands for luxury at the new showroom is the WIŚNIOWSKI CREO door, the NOVA door, and – last but not least – the PRIME garage door. The concept of minimalism is reflected in the clean and plain interiors. The only decorations include internal signage, product corners, and plants. The showroom was designed by Mateusz Słota, 3D designer at WIŚNIOWSKI.
“The Aperture Doors showroom is seated in a historic part of Knutsford, so out of respect for the existing buildings and the tradition held in this area, I suggested clear, more subdued signage. The curiosity of passers-by is sparked by the double curtain of the CREO door, which rotates around its axis just behind the shop window,” the designer explains. “In my design process, I focused on moderation. A showroom is not a supermarket, where you chuck as many products as you can into the cart. I used a clean white background to highlight the design. In one of the connecting points, the door is presented against a green wall. I chose simple and clean solutions because customers should feel confident in WIŚNIOWSKI showrooms. It is here that they will be choosing crucial elements for their homes, such as doors or garage doors.”
The interior of the showroom is very narrow and long, so making sure that the PRIME sectional door is presented in its full glory was a challenge. The available space made it impossible to install a display stand, hence the idea to use the garage door as a “portal” you have to pass to get to the main part of the showroom. Our exceptional concepts were praised by the first guests who attended the opening of the Aperture Doors showroom in great numbers.
